Nope. The corn syrup inhibits crystal formation. You'd get marshmallows with unappetizing grainy shards without it. If you absolutely can not use corn syrup, use a different grain syrup, preferably Golden syrup, which? is the closest equivalent. Though the different sucrose/glucose levels and taste make substituting unwise, it should be ok for at home purposes. Don't use honey.
