Plus in New Mexico, our population is filled with immigrants who celebrate this as well. People get sugar skulls even tattooed because of? this holiday, so you are compete right in saying she did nothing wrong by making this wonderful video

If you lived in Tucson (very? much a mix of Mexican and American cultures) you would know that we have a celebration here called the All Soul's Procession for Dia De Los Muertos where the entire community is invited to do the sugar skull makeup and parade through Downtown. It is completely acceptable to wear this makeup on Halloween also and it should not offend anyone. This girl is not copying any individual, she is just doing a sugar skull style which no one owns.

Lol. The uploader of this video uploaded this a year or so before Michelle did. And even? if she didn't, she's not copying her, everyone does this makeup. It's not something that MP has a Copyright over... And as for the "don't do this as a costume if you don't know what it's about" comment, I find that ridiculous. People like you shouldn't be allowed on the internet.

Man? people STOP calling it sugar? skull. Its catrina or la calavera catrina. And STOP using it as Halloween costume. Dia de los muertos is to honer the dead and to embrace death as something positive. If you somewhat know the history of dia de los muertos why would you suggest it as a costume for Haloween, Postive note your makeup did looked really good.
